David Baird – Freelance Director, Vision Mixer, Film Maker & Photographer
As you’ve kindly taken the time to visit this site – I should perhaps try and say a few words about me…
I consider myself to be creative, down to earth, reliable and have over 15 years experience in film and video production. I am confident in working to brand, to deadline and to budget, and I understand how to engage your key audience. I have the technical skills to work as an independent film maker or photographer and also work as part of a team of talented freelancers and production companies.
I have been lucky enough to of worked on a very wide range of projects including some for the UK’s biggest entertainment shows, award winning and critically acclaimed events and alongside some of the most creative artists and producers.
Most importantly, I am passionate about every production I work on – and strive to create content that is creative, engaging and considered amongst the best in the industry. I hope my continued repeat business and work on recommendation is testament to my working ethos and high production values. If you haven’t yet met someone I have worked with, please find below just a few of the kind words that have been passed in my direction:
David is our first port of call for any freelance work we need at CS Media. His ‘can do’ attitude combined with his great creative ability mean that he is a huge assaet for any project. [Clive Silver, CS Media]
David is just one of those guys who I always feel happier when I know he’s working on an event for us, his very personable nature & creative flair has been a real asset on many shoots, along with his ability to cope with the unexpected in a hectic environment (which has been tested by ourselves many times), he has always managed to ensure that we have not only a great program or event but most importantly a happy crew & a happy client, a nicer guy you could not wish to work with. [Darren Moss, Broadcast Services]
You did a superb job and I really enjoyed working with you… I now know why everyone thinks so highly of you – see you on the next project. [Nik Moore, Mindset Communications]
